The complex geological conditions in the Huainan mining area were once the hardest hit by the frequent gas accidents. Since 2006, the mining area has carried out a comprehensive, systematic and in-depth study of sensitive index systems and critical values ​​for forecasting coal and gas outbursts on the mining face, for the purpose of testing coal seam mining face for safe mining and effective prevention of coal and gas outbursts, etc. Provides scientific basis. The project is aimed at the geological characteristics of gas in Huainan mining area and the current status of mining technology. It uses joint and cross-disciplinary research on rock mechanics, geomechanics, gas geology, safety engineering, coal mining and other disciplines, and uses comprehensive methods such as theoretical analysis, laboratory research, and field tests.
