The models and colors of the electric planer, electric grinder and electric hammer drill that were recalled were: CHIG5317 (light blue), 20041 (light blue), and 10504 (silver and green). The recalled electric planers, electric grinders and electric hammer drills were sold in Canada from January 2010 to January 2011.
The number of products recalled this time is approximately: 2 sets of electric planers, 4 sets of electric grinders and 4 sets of electric hammer drills. The reason for the recall is that the recalled electric planers, electric grinders and electric hammer drills have not yet been tested to determine whether they meet the Canadian product safety standards. Therefore, there are potential safety hazards. Up to now, DIYTOOLS, Electric Safety Bureau and Health Canada have not received any accident report.
To this end, Health Canada advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled electric planers, electric grinders, and electric hammer drills and return the products to DIYTOOLS for a full refund.
