As the filter belt moves forward, the spacing between the upper and lower filter belts gradually decreases, and the material begins to be slightly stressed, and runs with the filter belt. Gradually increasing, the role of the wedge zone is to prolong the gravity dewatering time, increase the extrusion stability of the flocs, and prepare for entering the pressure zone.
4. The high-pressure dewatering section of the squeezing roller enters the pressure zone after leaving the wedge zone, and the material is squeezed in this zone. The pressure along the running direction of the filter belt increases with the decrease of the diameter of the squeezing roller, and the material shrinks by the extrusion volume. The inner free water is squeezed out. At this point, the filter cake is formed substantially, and the water content of the filter cake can be minimized by continuing to the high pressure zone of the pressure tail.
After the material is dehydrated through the above stages, the filter cake is discharged, scraped off by the scraper, and the upper and lower filter belts are separated. The high-pressure washing water removes trace materials between the filter holes and continues to the next dehydration cycle.
