Due to its low power, Russia's nuclear reactors can barely be used as a prototype powerplant for nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. However, they can help Chinese people better grasp the manufacturing principles of similar systems. The use of floating nuclear power plants can train experts on the use of power plants for surface warships. Therefore, the joint construction of a floating nuclear power plant by Russia and China will help China build a strong marine fleet even if it does not require the direct transfer of technology.
