Waste plastics recycling industry research

On May 30th, the “Research on Access Conditions for Waste Plastics Recycling Industry” hosted by China Waste Plastics Association was held at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Representatives of waste plastics enterprises from all over China, experts from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, experts from the China Waste Plastics Association, China Resources Recycling Association and other representatives attended the meeting.

At the symposium, Mr. Wang Wang, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Waste Plastics Association, submitted a draft for the “Access Conditions for Waste Plastics Recycling Industry”. This opinion draft proposes the access conditions and requirements for enterprises in the waste plastics industry from the following eight aspects: the layout and construction of enterprises; the scale, process and equipment requirements of waste plastics enterprises; the product quality requirements of waste plastics enterprises; Enterprise energy consumption and comprehensive utilization of resources; environmental protection of waste plastics enterprises; personnel training requirements of waste plastics enterprises; safety production, occupational health and social responsibility of waste plastics enterprises; supervision and management of waste plastics industry.

Experts from the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stressed that the formulation of the “Entry Conditions” is only the first step. What is more important is how to operate according to the requirements of the access conditions. It is recommended to publish a list of enterprises that meet the requirements for industry access on the Internet, so as to gradually Guide the standardization of the waste plastics industry.

Experts from the Solid Waste Management Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection have put forward requirements from the perspective of departmental supervision: to be able to reflect the idea of ​​“benign management”, on the one hand, to strengthen management and environmental protection, and on the other hand, to promote the management of the park. It can reflect the encouragement of waste plastics companies to protect the environment.
