3. The main content:

3.1 Leakage Handling Precautions:

3.1.1 Personnel entering the site must be equipped with necessary personal protective equipment (gloves, respirator masks, gas masks, etc.).

3.1.2 If the spilled chemical is flammable and explosive, fire should be prohibited. Any naked flame and any other forms of heat, fire, and power should be promptly extinguished to reduce the risk of fire and explosion.

3.1.3 It is strictly forbidden to act alone in emergency treatment. There must be guardians, and if necessary spray with water spray gun.

3.1.4 The site should be approached from the upwind. All ventilation and ventilation equipment should be opened in the workshop. It is forbidden to enter blindly.

3.1.5 Leakage Source Control If possible, the further diffusion of chemicals can be eliminated by controlling the spillage or leakage of chemicals.

3.2 Control of leaking packages

3.2.1 If the chemical is a liquid, it will spread everywhere when it leaks to the ground, and it is difficult to collect and treat it. The construction of a dike is the most common method of containment for the control of liquid spills on the ground.

3.2.2 Dispose of the leak as far as possible during disposal, move to a safe area and dispose of it.

3.2.3 It can usually be handled by methods such as transferring materials, nailing wooden wedges, and injecting sealant. In the company, a hammer can be used to nail the size and shape of the wooden wedge into the leak hole.

3.3 Control of Disposal of Spills on the Ground

3.3.1 . Leakage of raw materials and products in workshops and factories shall be blocked by means of a circular dyke, that is, fire sand or talcum powder shall be used to circumferentially enclose the leakage package to prevent the spread of leakage.

3.3.2 The key to the use of embankments to intercept spills In addition to the characteristics of the spill itself, it is to determine the size of the ground area where the embankment is to be constructed to ensure that there is sufficient space to contain the spill in the repaired embankment.

3.3.3 If the spill is flammable, special precautions should be taken during operation to avoid fire. When the liquid leakage occurs at the edge of the ditch, both ends of the ditch should be plugged to prevent the material from flowing out along the ditch. The liquid in the ditch can be recycled into the waste solvent recovery drum in the workshop, and the ground leakage can be collected by means of adsorption.

3.4 Adsorption:

3.4.1 When the leakage is small, the existing fire sand in the company and in the workshop can be used for adsorption. If necessary, raw materials such as talcum powder used in the workshop can be used for adsorption.

3.4.2 Wastes after adsorption should be collected centrally and transported to waste disposal sites for disposal.
