Usually the strain gauges are attached to the measuring body by means of an adhesive. The choice of binder depends on the material and temperature range. At the same time, the measuring points need to be processed to ensure better strain transmission.

Good bonded substrates The parts that are bonded must be carefully cleaned to remove dirt, grease and oxide layers. Adequate preparation is the most basic requirement to achieve good adhesion. Usually we use the cleaning agent RMS1, and RMS1 can be used as a spray, making it quicker and easier to use.

The roughening of the surface is important, in addition to ensuring the cleanliness of the measuring points, and it is possible to increase the surface activity at the microscopic level and improve the bonding quality. In general, 180 to 300 mesh sandpaper is required.

Adhesives can be cold-cured or heat-cured by selecting strain gage bonding. In stress testing, fast acting adhesives are often used because they cure quickly at room temperature. Typical super-strong adhesives include the Z70 and X60, which have a maximum operating temperature of 120 ° C and 80 ° C.

However, if the subsequent temperature rises, it is necessary to use a cold-cure, heat-resistant, two-component adhesive X280, or a heat-curing adhesive such as EP310S or EP150. For thermal curing, the heating curve and time need to be carefully observed to obtain correct and reliable measurement results.

In addition to the temperature range, the surface characteristics of the object to be measured are also very important for the choice of binder. Low viscosity adhesives, such as the Z70, produce a light, thin adhesive layer that is only suitable for smooth surfaces. Paste adhesives, such as X60, can only be used on uneven and easily absorbed surfaces.

One-component adhesives such as the Z70 are very easy to use, but it is important to note that the Z70 can only be used in applications where the humidity is greater than 30% and is generally not suitable for particularly dry and cold environments.

Electric Power Tool

A power Tool is a tool that is actuated by a electric power source and mechanism.Power tools are used in industry, in construction, in the garden, for housework tasks and around the house for purposes of driving (fasteners), drilling, cutting, shaping, sanding, grinding, polishing, painting and more. The most common types of power tools included Electric Hand Drill, electric Impact Drill, hand Cutting Machine, electric wrench, angle grinder etc.

Power tools are classified as either stationary or portable, where portable means hand-held. Portable power tools have obvious advantages in mobility. Stationary power tools, however, often have advantages in speed and precision.
