Wheat pouring water is stressful

The frozen water of wheat can make the wheat have suitable water supply during the wintering period, which is conducive to consolidating the tillering before winter, promoting the new tillering and preventing the freezing of dead seedlings. Therefore, pouring frozen water is an important measure to ensure the safe wintering of wheat. However, whether the frozen water in the wheat field should be determined according to the soil moisture and the seedlings, and the time for pouring the frozen water also has certain requirements. Here, remind the majority of wheat farmers to pay attention to the following points when pouring frozen water.

　　 1. When the wheat is planted, the deep bottom sputum is sufficient, the straw returning to the field and the soil preparation quality is high, the soil fertility foundation is high, the sowing amount is appropriate, the sowing depth is suitable, the post-sowing is very good, and the winter wheat seedlings reach the strong wheat standard. Such a wheat field does not pour frozen water, even in the case of extraordinarily large winter drought years, it can be safely wintered; the quality of the land preparation is not high, there are many straws, and there is no suppression after sowing, and the unsuccessful wheat fields need to be poured with frozen water. In addition, the shallow land, the thin soil with poor soil and the poor water retention sand should also be poured with frozen water.

　　 2 , watering time. Usually pouring cold water suitably year time late November to early December, average daily temperature 3 ℃ ~ 5 ℃, freezing night after watering day consumption. Watering from 9 am to 3 pm in sunny and warm weather . The winter irrigation is too early, the temperature is high, and the evaporation is large. It can't play the role of heat preservation and increase the growth. The wheat field with good growth will also cause the wheat seedlings to grow due to sufficient water and fertilizer. At the same time, due to the serious cracking of the soil surface, the wheat roots are damaged and the wheat roots are intensified. The evaporation of the soil is likely to cause freezing damage. The frozen water is poured too late. If the water can not be infiltrated on the same day, it will easily cause the surface to freeze. The wheat seedlings will easily suffocate and die under the ice layer, or form ice cubes, lift the clods, pull off the wheat roots, and hang the wheat seedlings.

　　 3 , watering amount. When the field water holding capacity is 60% to 70% , it is generally suitable to fill 60 to 70 square meters per acre of wheat field , so that irrigation can be carried out without any residual water on the ground. Less watering, can not pick up, forming a frozen shell, easy to "root" wheat seedlings; too much watering, will cause wheat roots to be affected, affecting its growth and development.

　　 4 , topdressing. For wheat fields with insufficient base fertilizer, weak seedlings and small populations, 5 to 7.5 kg of urea can be applied per acre combined with the winter water .
