1. Those disappearing inverter companies

In July 2019, after ABB announced its withdrawal from the photovoltaic business, many industry insiders felt that the photovoltaic inverter market was surging. Five major international giants, including Emerson, Siemens, GE, Schneider and ABB, had closed their related businesses. China's photovoltaic inverter reshuffle is very tragic, experienced two rapid development periods in 2009 and 2016, but also accompanied by two major reshuffles in 2013 and 2018, during which 95% of the inverter brand has also died . They are also important parts of photovoltaic power plants, but the procurement points of components and inverters are very different. For power station investors, a power station and component manufacturers usually only meet once, even if the component manufacturers are no longer available, they can purchase other components to replace;

The inverter is the interface and output terminal of all data of the photovoltaic power plant. No matter which part of the photovoltaic power plant has problems, the owner first thinks of the inverter company. According to big data statistics, during the entire 25-year lifespan, the owner may have to deal with inverter manufacturers more than five times.

It can be seen that under the current situation that the quality and performance of inverter products are very mature, the life of inverter companies is even more important than the life of inverters.

For power plant owners, the importance of choosing a partner with long-term value even exceeds the product itself. When purchasing inverters, the inverter companies you choose to cooperate with can at least survive to cover the inverter's life cycle.
