At the question-and-answer session on the overall planning and design tender for Wuhan Smart City held yesterday, the person in charge of Wuhan Public Security Bureau disclosed this information.

Wang Wei, deputy director of the Information and Communication Division of the Public Security Bureau of the city, said that the video sensor system can only record events and facilitate post-processing. With the olfactory and tactile sensing system, chemical warehouses once exceeded the standard in the event of leakage of a certain chemical substance. Vehicles passing through the bridge are overweight, the mall has just appeared smoke, and pollutants in the sewage outlet exceed the standard. This system will sense and alarm in time. , can achieve prior prevention.

The video system will also be fully upgraded. According to reports, the newly installed 25,000 cameras on the streets of Sanzhen now have high-definition images and the network has reached the level of operators. In the next step, the video system will automatically identify, follow up, and promptly warn people when the behavior of personnel such as fast running and tooling is abnormal in the image.

The person in charge of the Wuhan Traffic Control also revealed that the city will plan to install 5000 radio frequency identification devices at major intersections, which can sense the installation of ETC vehicles, monitor the traffic flow and speed, and realize the informatization of traffic management.
