Global unwrought aluminum inventory declines from last year

According to the data released by the International Aluminum Association on Wednesday, global unwrought aluminum stocks increased by 45,000 tons at the end of January compared with the previous month, but decreased by 186,000 tons compared to the same period of last year.

As of the end of January, the unwrought aluminum inventory was 1.307 million tons, slightly higher than the previous month's inventory data of 126.2 tons, compared with 1.493 million tons in the same period last year.

During the same period, total aluminum inventory rose from 2.275 million tons last month to 2.31 million tons, a total increase of 35,000 tons. However, compared with the same period of last year, it dropped by 164,000 tons.
