Special Labor Protection Articles Safety Signs Management

The “Specifications for the Implementation of Safety Signs for Special Labor Protection Articles” (No. 149 of the Safety Supervision Plan [2005]) is a labor protection product management system implemented in China on October 13, 2005.
According to the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Labor Protection Products, labor protection articles are classified into special labor protection articles and general labor protection articles.
The special labor protection article safety sign is a certificate confirming that the safety protection performance of special labor protection articles complies with national standards and industry standards, and permits the production and business units to issue and use the labor protection articles. The State Administration of Work Safety Supervision and Administration implements unified supervision and management of safety signs for special labor protection articles.
The special labor protection articles safety signs consist of two parts: special labor protection articles safety sign certificates and special labor protection articles safety sign labels.
The special labor protection articles safety sign certificate shall be supervised by the State Administration of Work Safety, and be stamped with the seal of the special labor protection article safety sign management center.

Production and business entities must not purchase or use special labor protection articles without safety signs: Purchased special labor protection articles must be inspected and accepted by the production safety technical department or management personnel of the unit.
Imported special labor protection articles shall be in accordance with the provisions of our country to obtain safety signs.
