Recently, the multifunctional helmet developed by Chen Zhengzhi Innovation Studio of Jingzhou Power Supply Co., Ltd. has obtained the national new practical and appearance patents.

The safety work cap is an essential safety protection product for everyone in the power safety production. In the routine maintenance and repair work, the workers need to carry many high-pressure early warning detection devices, walkie-talkies, accident lights, voice recorders and many other small tools, which are inconvenient for on-site use. And sometimes due to the suddenness of emergency repairs and the tight schedule, it is easy to forget to bring some tools and affect the efficiency of repairs. In 2013, Jingzhou Power Supply Company decided to focus on research and development of multifunctional helmets, and the “Chen Zhengzhi Innovation Studio” of the control center took up this task.

Without changing the structure of the helmet or affecting the original functions of the helmet, the company successfully tested high pressure warning, wireless intercom, live recording, emergency lighting, and charging after repeated tests in the past five months. Integrated into the helmet, it can automatically alarm when the staff is close to the non-safety distance of the charged body, operate 48-hour continuous recording with one-button operation, 99 pairs of wireless intercom with 33 users within 500 meters, and provide five illumination modes for Select, USB interface output charging and other functions. The advanced wireless radio energy technology is used for charging, and the multifunctional safety helmet can be automatically charged only by placing it in a prescribed position, which meets the requirements for standardized management of safety tools. After the above functions were integrated, the weight of the helmet only increased by 50 grams, which did not aggravate the burden on the staff, effectively solved the problem that the staff carried many tools, was cumbersome to operate, and improved the work efficiency.
