Application of heat treatment equipment in heat treatment of wind power transmission gears

At present, the wind power gearboxes used in China mainly include foreign companies such as GE, Weide, Dr. Rexroth, and Vistas, as well as gearboxes of companies such as NGC, Heavy Tooth, Daqi Dazhong, Hangzhou Tooth and Erzhong.

The external gear materials of the gear box are 17CrNiMo6, 15CrNi6, 20CrNi2MoA, 17Cr2Ni2MoA, etc., and the final heat treatment method is usually carburized and quenched; the internal gear material is 42CrMoA, 34Cr2Ni2MoA, etc., usually adopting nitriding process or high frequency quenching process.

For the technical requirements of wind power gear heat treatment, we have provided large controllable atmosphere well seepage to NGC, Zhenhua Heavy Industry, Hangzhou Advance Gearbox Group Co., Ltd., Dongfang Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Dongli Transmission Equipment Co., Ltd. Carbon furnace production line, large controllable box type carburizing furnace production line, controllable atmosphere cover type nitriding furnace, controllable atmosphere box type nitriding furnace production line and other equipment. From the operation of the field equipment, the temperature and atmosphere control are stable, the precision is high, and the equipment runs reliably. The key components are all made by foreign companies to ensure that the furnace temperature uniformity of the controlled atmosphere carburizing equipment is controlled at ±5 °C, the carbon potential uniformity is controlled at 0.02%; the controlled atmosphere nitriding equipment furnace temperature uniformity is controlled at ±3 °C, the nitrogen potential stability is controlled at KN±0.02; the surface hardness, hardened layer, metallographic structure and other heat treatment indexes of the processed wind power gear fully meet the technical requirements of product design.

As of the first half of 2009, the company's total output value has increased by 40% compared with the same period of last year. In the context of the general economic downturn in the global economy, Tianlong has turned against the trend and has bright prospects for development. In April 2009, the industry standard for the “heat treatment technical conditions of large-scale controlled atmosphere well type carburizing furnace production line” drafted by Tianlong Company passed the national heat treatment standardization technical committee. In August 2009, two large-scale controlled atmosphere well carburizing furnaces and controlled atmosphere hood nitriding furnaces were identified as high-tech products in Jiangsu Province. The newly built second phase of the company's nearly 7000m ² plant is also about to be completed and put into use, thus laying a good foundation for the company's future development.
